TDI will be offering an online TDI Coach Knowledge Assessment that covers the rules that dance and flag coaches encounter most often. This class WILL be required for Varsity and JV State/JV Elite qualification for the 2009-2010 season and is recommended for all coaches! This course will be available online in mid-September and through the Coaches 209 course offered at the Fall Conference.

Other general rules and regulations for competition are outlined in the TDI Team Membership Manual. Non-Member teams should become familiar with the TDI Penalty Sheet and can request a How-To-Compete in TDI Guide. This guide walks you through a typical competition day.
NEW for the 2009-2010 Season...IHSA is offering an ON-LINE Spirit Rules meeting (www.ihsa.org) and a handful of in-person meetings throughout the state. IHSA will still require ONE Spirit Coach from each school to complete this class. TDI will NOT require coaches to take this online class, but highly, highly recommends that ALL coaches do so. TDI recommends that ALL COACHES take the course in order to be more prepared and knowledgeable of the NFHS & IHSA rules and guidelines. Be sure to coordinate the IHSA Spirit coach requirement with your high school adminstration. Spirit Rule books will be available for sale through the IHSA webstore beginning in September of 2009 and in limited supply at the TDI Fall Conference
